Our team is made up of passionate lacrosse players from the Syracuse City School District. Players come from each high school in the district. Together they form the Syracuse City Girls Program!

The mission of the Syracuse City Girls Lacrosse program is to create a fun, supportive environment where players can grow both on and off the field. We measure our success through the personal and team growth we achieve and the memorable moments we share with each other and the community.

For 2026, the tournament will feature two separate brackets:
• High School Programs – Morning Session
• New York–Only Club Programs – Afternoon Session (2027, 2028 & 2029 teams only)
The club division will be limited to 2027, 2028 and 2029 teams, providing younger athletes with meaningful exposure to the college coaches who consistently attend this event. We anticipate this structure will be especially appealing to New York college programs and highly beneficial for players interested in staying in‑state.

“I think she would be perfectly comfortable with not going in,” Taetsch said. “She practices with us and we get her in certain spots. She’s gotten better skill-wise. But as far as knowledge of the game, we’re a young team, so we’re going through terminology and stuff like that with them, and she grasped it like crazy. Any time I ask a question, she raises her hand, she knows the answer and she’s right 99% of the time.”
